I though it would be fun to start a discussion thread that would allow anyone to post and keep a log about things happened to us. Post anything you can remember and thought was interesting so we can look back years from now.

Tuesday November 24th
OK, I will start.
Carl and Kevin took the week of Thanksgiving off so they could fly for 9 straight days. Bobby has Flexibility, and Steve is off Friday.
We Flew or did Flying things all Tuesday from early morning until late at night.
We worked on a bunch of planes: Soldered 2 Plush ESCs, another Angle Motor that had bad solder joints from the factory. Fixed Carl's Trike under his Blue Slow Stick, and added a steerable front wheel.
Carl flew his T-28 several times and did great. BUT. One time he was flying at the same time as Bobby was flying his Pop-Wing, and got in a little trouble. He have in for a landing starting all the way across the field by the pump station, but by the time he got to the Sidewalk where he was standing near the street he still was flying way to fast. Bobby (Though still flying his Pop Wing,) turned and started giving advice and support. After Carl just missed the power lines and recovered. Bobby Thought... Hey I was flying. By the time Bobby Found the the Pop-Wing in the air, it had traversed the whole filed and was headed into a death spiral in the desert. There are pictures of the pieces out on the Basin115 site picture site. Carl gave Bobby one of his Pop-Wings that he swore he would never fly, as a replacement. So Carl and Bobby Transferred all the electrons to the new one which i ready to go.
Bobby Flew the his T-28, Pop-Wing and Radian. Carl Flew his Lancaster, and Horton. Kevin put a Vector Flight controller in his larger Guppy like plane, and flew it. Ashley flew his huge SkyMule.
Bobby road along with Ashely in his Corvette to see who crashed an Apprentice we saw go down.
Kevin landed Carl's Lancaster very hot, and it went up the basin wall and over the sidewalk. We thought it would be a mess, but not a scratch on it.
We spent a lot of time on Props for the Lancaster. The ones that came on it were more brittle that any plastic we had seen. They almost crumbled when you squeezed them. So we had to improvise.
Anyone that remembers more about what happened just reply.

Weekend of November 29th
Carl had his Lancaster up a tree. ha ha. Actually at the very top of a tree. (Good Pictures) He had to climb up and get it. Lots of thorns that scratched him all over. (Or at least the places he showed us.)
Kevin put together his new large ware plane. (A Sea-- Something) and flew it great but the landing was under power and it fell the last foot or so. Tore both landing gear off, but they were not glued in good at all. They will pop right back into place. Did break a prop and the prop holder but Jay is going to try to 3D print a new one.
I heard Tony, Anthony, Steve, Antonio, crashed something too, but don't know any details. Maybe someone can reply and let us know.
The Copter guys had a corse set up right in front where we land and take off, but other than a little grumbling from a few people, most said they would put up with every now and then. David was our with Streamers on his plane and Bobby got lots of good videos of it.
Carl flew his Horton and keeps saying it is his favorite. He also flew his Slow Stick with the Trike, and is T-28. All of which did good. Carl and Bobby, had added the steerable front wheel to the trike so it needed to by tried out.
Steve, Kevin, and Bobby did lots of Slow Stick-ing. Always fun.
Ashley was Sky Muling, and after landing he drove across some glider guys line and staged it. It just stopped him from taxiing. The Glide guys had a winch with a long line that would pull the glide up in the air then disconnect.

Weekend of December 5th
Great Weekend. The weather could not have been nicer. Lots of fun with really great people.
Tom maidened a huge yellow plane and flew it perfect as we all knew he would.
Carl was in Maryland, but most of the rest of the gang was there.
On Saturday Ken, Jeremy, and Bobby went to what Ken calls his private field. We had a great time. Ken's friend David showed up and the were all flying the Quad course. Lots of good view of David flying a wing under the loops.
Steve was flying like a crazy guy. I told him that he had turned into a wild man. He drove his Apprentice on the ground to the car from the filed while carrying a bunch of stuff. Then he took off from the parking lot and flew over it in the dark. I think he is turing into a rebel.
Kevin and Bobby went to Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, and Kevin had the "Bobbie" sandwich, which is basically a Thanks Giving turkey dinner on a bun, (Even with the stuffing. ha ha) There is a picture on the site.
Kevin practiced some Vertical takes offs with his Pop-Wing.
Jim and Sandy we're out flying most of the morning then said they were going to go to the holy store and get Sandy a Micro Cub. We ran into them at National, then back at the field later where she flew it great despite the help from David and Kevin. (ha ha. That was a Joke!)
Come on guys post what you remember. All you have to do his hit the quick reply. You don't even have to sign up or in. But if you do, then you can pick a cool picture.

Just a quick question that might get a conversation going, If two flyers have a midair collision is anyone at fault? My opinion is that they would both share equal blame and loss, meaning no one was at fault unless of course it was intentional , but that would be hard to prove ! What does anyone else think?
